Important Announcement about our Products support on Joomla 1.5

As you are probably aware, we are terminating further development of all our products on Joomla 1.5.x versions on March 30th 2012. This would mean that, releases of our products made after March 30th 2012 will not be Joomla 1.5 compatible. Nevertheless we will support our products on Joomla 1.5 till 30th June 2012. So we request you to upgrade Joomla on your website to 2.5 version as soon as possible, if you have not done so already. For more info, please visit our blog post.

JV-LinkExchanger Joomla 2.5 New Version Release
We are glad to announce the release of JV-LinkExchanger 2.4.142 today. With this release, JV-LinkExchanger is Joomla 2.5 compatible. Other changes that have been made in this release are as follows:
  • Feature - Joomla 2.5 Compatibility
  • Feature - Ability to track hits for one-way links added by back-end
  • Feature - Added Websnapr as alternate choice of thumbnail provider
  • Change - JV-LE 2.4+ versions now require Mootools 1.2.5+ version for Ajax features to work
  • Change - Updated links in dashboard
  • Change - Performance enhancements
  • Change - Category description will now be shown in tooltips in frontend upon mouseover on category names
  • Change - Modified JV-LE to show thumbnails as per the latest changes at shrinktheweb.com
  • Change - Display rating and votes separately for links
