We are able to open that link successfully and see the downloads in it.
You may otherwise click on the "Downloads" link at the top of the page and select JV-LinkDirectory from there to go to Downloads page.
Thank you sniranjan I used the download link at the top of the page as the link i gave you does not show up a link to JV directory, only other downloads unless I am mistaken.
This seems an above average confusing way to get software that has been purchased. Usually software companies send an email with the download link.
I have already got one license for a site & think I recall I needed a serial number to register the software against a domain. I have not done this as part of this new purchase.
Can you clarify what needs to be done next or is it just a case of installing it?
Thank you
Guy Lewis
They are not other downloads. They are the downloads for JV-LinKDirectory. I understand from your previous post, that you wanted the link to JV-LinkDirectory downloads. The link or the menu item (Downloads -> JV-LinkDirectory) contains them.Thank you sniranjan I used the download link at the top of the page as the link i gave you does not show up a link to JV directory, only other downloads unless I am mistaken
This is the way vBulletin functions, but we will certainly add some changes to it, enable an email to be sent. Nevertheless, finding the downloads link at the top of the page is not difficult. This seems an above average confusing way to get software that has been purchased. Serial numbers are not required for purchases, made after August 1st 2009.I have already got one license for a site & think I recall I needed a serial number to register the software against a domain. I have not done this as part of this new purchase.
You need to download the component, modules and plugins for JV-LD from the download page and start installing them. Documentation is available in http://www.jv-extensions.com/jv-ld-4-x-documents.htmlCan you clarify what needs to be done next or is it just a case of installing it?
Everyone is downloading from the above link. And we have verified the same now as well. The link will open a page that contains the downloads for JV-LD. If you see nothing, as you mention, please attach a screenshot of what you see, so that we can help you faster. There is nothing at: http://www.jv-extensions.com/jv-ld-downloads.html

Ha I think I am getting it now, although it is not explained, these: ", Community Builder Plugin, v1.4 Module Download, Sitemap Plugin, JV-LD Redirection Plugin, Joomla Search Plugin and Traffic System Plugin are additional plugins to add to the Link Directory? and the "v4.3 Build 17 Component Download" is the Link Directory Download?
It may be obvious now, but a busy person, hoping to receive an email with a receipt with a receipt / instructions and download link like I have experienced for many years consistently elsewhere. I have got a little confused & asked for help here thats all. I find your tone here not conducive to customer care and think you need to be a little more understanding as I am now cautious about how much help I will receive in the future.
Do I need one purchase of the Link Directory per domain?
OK thank you. Where Do I find my receipt?
Thank you. As mentioned above, I now understand a little more about how you organize things here but don't understand how I missed the instructions for this process.
Yes you are right... the 4.3 Build-17 Component Download is the Link Directory download. The details for each of these downloads, are available in the documentation section - at http://www.jv-extensions.com/jv-ld-4-x-documents.htmlHa I think I am getting it now, although it is not explained, these: ", Community Builder Plugin, v1.4 Module Download, Sitemap Plugin, JV-LD Redirection Plugin, Joomla Search Plugin and Traffic System Plugin are additional plugins to add to the Link Directory? and the "v4.3 Build 17 Component Download" is the Link Directory Download?
We completely understand and as said in my previous post, we will certainly work on editing vbulletin code to add an email notification after purchase. Its surprising that vbulletin does not do it by default. It may be obvious now, but a busy person, hoping to receive an email with a receipt with a receipt / instructions and download link like I have experienced for many years consistently elsewhere. Our intention was not to be non-conducive. We are there to help everyone and certainly point our customers in the right direction, when they feel confused. I think you misunderstood our statements or may be we should have worded them better. In any case, we apologize if we have given you such a feeling.I find your tone here not conducive to customer care and think you need to be a little more understanding as I am now cautious about how much help I will receive in the future.
The best starting point for anyone that we suggest, is the documentation section where we list down almost everthing - right from what is the download, first steps, concepts for using product and more...
Certainly not required. We have become GPL from August 1st 2009, and you can use our products on multiple websites of yours.Do I need one purchase of the Link Directory per domain?
We send payment receipts or invoices by email upon request. Kindly confirm if we can send the same to the email address that you used for payment.OK thank you. Where Do I find my receipt?
We once again apologize if our statements were worded a little different. We want to reassure you that, our intention was to help you....only. We are one extension provider, who provide a fast support via forums and even try to use our online chat to clarify things if required.Thank you. As mentioned above, I now understand a little more about how you organize things here but don't understand how I missed the instructions for this process.
I think since this website is itself built on vBulletin, everything including articles, documentation and support are in the forum threads. This is usually not the case with other providers i suppose.
vBulletin is coming up with a CMS soon and we will be migrating to that. Once that is done, you will find us organized, much better.
Thank you sniranjan, I appreciate your support. Yes please if you can email me a receipt using the email you have on file for payment.
Thank you
Guy
