Upgrade is the process of moving your JV-SE files and installation to the next higher major version where as Update is the process of moving or migrating the JV-SE files/installation to the next higher minor or maintenance version. For example, in v4.0.5, 4 represents the major version, 0 represents the minor version and 5 represents the maintenance version or release. Please follow the steps given below to upgrade/update.
JV-SE can updated to the latest version using MANUAL or AUTOMATIC update procedures.
If you are using v2.0.0, then you can only do a manual updation.
Versions higher than 2.0.0 can perform automatic updations or manual updations.
Please refer to the RELEASE INFORMATION of the respective version for steps to manually or automatically perform updations.
