Overview
| JV-Relatives is a simple, but efficient plugin or mambot, which will list down the links to related articles for the displayed article in Joomla and Mambo content management systems. The links to related articles will be displayed at the bottom or left or right of the article as configured, and hyperlink will be provided for each related article, in the list. The related articles are chosen based on the keywords configured for the displayed article. JV-Relatives works for Mambo and Joomla, blogs and articles as well. JV-Relatives for Joomla 1.5 works with MyBlog (from www.azrul.com) as well! JV-Relatives embeds links to related articles for the article, that is displayed at the chosen location in the article. The related articles are obtained by scanning the meta keywords of other articles. JV-Relatives improves article readership and dramatically increases your ability to retain your visitors for longer periods of time, by displaying closely related articles in Joomla and Mambo. As your visitors complete reading the article, they are presented with links to articles that are related to the one that is displayed! JV-Relatives can enhance SEO using tags as well. One of the newest capabilities that has been added to JV-Relatives, is its ability to display configured meta keywords of the displayed article as tags, above or below the article. The keywords can also be linked to default Joomla search, there by improving your website SEO. (Note: this feature is available only in JV-Relatives for Joomla 1.5) When a user submits an article at frontend or backend, he will provide the keywords in the meta info for that article. The keyword content will be scanned for relation with the keywords of the displayed article and the related articles will be prepared and displayed to the user. - JV-Relatives can display related articles and blog posts even when you use SEF Patch for Joomla 1.5 or Joomla 1.0!
- JV-Relatives for Joomla 1.5 can display related articles and blog posts even for those articles which are managed using MyBlog component from www.azrul.com

No new development or feature addition will be given for JV-Relatives for Joomla 1.0, though maintenance and bug fix releases will be released for JV-Relatives on Joomla 1.0 |
