Language Files:
None of the language files have changed from v2.1.0 to v2.1.1. So if you are upgrading from v2.1.0, then you dont need to worry about language files updations.
The languages files provided for JV-SE are written by our official translators. Each downloaded language zip file will contain two files, one for frontend: user_{lang}.php and another for backend: admin_{lang}.php. For any queries on translations, please use our Language Translations board for Standard Edition to discuss more with the official translators.
Follow the procedure below to install the language files
-
Download the required language zip file
-
Extract it and you will find two files (frontend and backend) files. Some zips may have only the frontend file.
-
Upload the user_{lang}.php file to {Joomla}/components/com_jvse/lang folder
-
Upload the admin_{lang}.php file to {Joomla}/administrator/components/com_jvse/lang folder
-
Make sure that you are using the appropriate language setting in Joomla
-
When you start using JV-SE at frontend or backend, JV-SE will automatically detect the language in use (from $mosConfig_lang) and load the appropriate language file
