JV-LinkDirectory 5.12 – More Extra Fields for your Directory!

JV-LinkDirectory provides a way for administrator and site visitors to add specific data for their listings via “Extra Fields” or “Custom Fields”. Till date you could create fields like Checkbox, Address Location, Country, Date, Dropdown, Editor, Email, Facebook URL, Google Plus URL, Meta description, LinkedIn URL, Radio buttons, RSS Feed Url, Text field, Text area field, Time, URL and Twitter URL.

In JV-LinkDirectory 5.12 we are adding the following new extra fields that you can add and have your listings show them in front-end and back-end!

1. Phone Number

Click to make a call to listing owner.

2. Skype Call button

Make a call to listing owner via Skype.

3. Blogspot

Provide your blog name. Blogger is a blog-publishing service that allows multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries.

4. Digg

Provide your user name at digg.com. Digg is a news aggregator with a curated front page, aiming to select stories specifically for the Internet audience such as science, trending political issues, and viral Internet issues.

5. Dribbble

Provide your user name at dribbble.com. Dribbble is an online community for showcasing user-made artwork. It functions as a self-promotion and networking platform for graphic design, web design, illustration, photography, and other creative areas.

6. Facebook Messenger

Provide your user name at facebook.com for messenger. Facebook Messenger is an instant messaging service. Users can send messages and exchange photos, videos, stickers, audio, and files, as well as react to other users’ messages and interact with bots.

7. Indiegogo

Provide your user name at indiegogo.com. Indiegogo is an international crowdfunding website and allows people to solicit funds for an idea, charity, or start-up business.

8. Instagram

Provide your user name at instagram.com. Instagram is a mobile, desktop, and Internet-based photo-sharing application and service that allows users to share pictures and videos either publicly, or privately to pre-approved followers.

9. Kickstarter

Provide your user name at kickstarter.com. Kickstarter is an American public-benefit corporation based in Brooklyn, New York, that maintains a global crowdfunding platform focused on creativity.

10. LinkedIn User Profile

Provide your user name at linkedin.com. LinkedIn is a social networking website aimed at professionals, allows members to contact past and current colleagues, look for a new job, uncover new business opportunities and network with experts within a particular industry.

11. LinkedIn Company

Provide your company name at linkedin.com. Company Pages on LinkedIn allows you to explore companies you’re interested in, get the latest company updates and industry news, and learn about new job opportunities.

12. Myspace

Provide your user name at myspace.com. Myspace is a social networking website offering an interactive, user-submitted network of friends, personal profiles, blogs, groups, photos, music, and videos.

13. Patreon

Provide your user name at patreon.com. Patreon is a membership platform that provides business tools for creators to run a subscription content service, as well as ways for artists to build relationships and provide exclusive experiences to their subscribers, or “patrons”.

14. Pinterest

Provide your user name at pinterest.com. Pinterest is a web and mobile application company that operates a software system designed to discover information on the World Wide Web, mainly using images and on a shorter scale, GIFs and videos.

15. Quora User Profile

Provide your user name at quora.com. Quora is a question-and-answer site where questions are asked, answered, edited, and organized by its community of users.

16. Reddit

Provide your user name at reddit.com. Reddit is a social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website. Registered members submit content to the site such as links, text posts, and images, which are then voted up or down by other members.

17. Stumbleupon

Provide your user name at stumbleupon.com. StumbleUpon is a discovery engine (a form of web search engine) that finds and recommends web content to its users. Its features allow users to discover and rate Web pages, photos and videos that are personalized to their tastes and interests using peer-sourcing and social-networking principles.

18. Telegram

Provide your user name at telegram.com. Telegram is a cloud-based instant messaging service where users can send messages and exchange photos, videos, stickers, audio and files of any type.

19. Tumblr

Provide your user name at tumblr.com. Tumblr is a microblogging and social networking website which allows users to post multimedia and other content to a short-form blog.

20. Vimeo

Provide your user name at vimeo.com. Vimeo is a video-sharing website in which users can upload, share and view videos.

21. YouTube User URL

Provide your user name at youtube.com. YouTube is a video-sharing website that allows users to upload, view, rate, share, add to favorites, report, comment on videos, and subscribe to other users.

22. YouTube Channel

Provide your channel name at youtube.com. YouTube channel on YouTube is the home page for an account. It shows the account name, the account type, the public videos they’ve uploaded, and any user information they’ve entered.

Changes:

For Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus and LinkedIn fields, it is no longer required to provide the complete URL. Only the usernames are required, and JV-LinkDirectory will automatically construct the respective social site URLs.
